The next day we got up, loaded EVERYTHING back into the car, we had been told that a snow storm was coming so we thought we needed to get to CT when the window wipers stop ed working. We had to take the car into a shop and wait a long time for them to be fixed.
The rest of the day was uneventful.
Drove and stopped for the night.
Drove the next Day and got to the Tricketts at 8pm.

9/12/08
We left Kansas and drove, OK we drove for a long time and it got rather boring.
So I will not bore you with that. We got in to St Louis and went to see the huge arch there.
It was Huge you could ride in side it in a tram . Any way We found some cheap parking, as i was getting out of the car I noticed that there was a lot of white glass on the ground.
I did not think much more of it in till I just happened to say to Mum, "I wonder how that got there." Mum said that maybe someone had broken into a car. Suddenly I felt we had to pray, so we did and went to the arch and thought no more about it.
There was a cool Museum there and we were going to go up the arch but Mum did not feel to good and besides it cost $10 each.
We walked round the arch a bit more and then slowly made our way to the car.
As i was coming around the side of the car, I saw black glass on the ground, that was when I knew we had been robbed.
Someone had broken in and taken Dads laptop, Computer, DVD player, and other stuff.
Of cause we were all in shock for a while, we called the police but they could not do much about it. Suddenly None of us wanted to be in that city. The weather was getting colder and there was a huge hole of where the window had been. We also had no idea how to get out of the city as the GPS had gone and we had no maps.
So here we were driving round in circles trying to get onto the highway.
Finely we asked someone and we got out of that city.
Now we had the problem of what to do.
Should we drive on to Connecticut that was still a long way away, or should we find a hotel and leave the car out over night with a broken window.
We found a Hotel took everything out of the car and stayed the night, but Dad keeped getting up in the night to see if the car was still there.

Our Last Trip Across The US
7/12/08
Well today was the start of our last journey across America but it has been a stressful last three weeks of packing and farewells.
Last Night we stay at our friends the Marooneys place and woke up this morning at about 7pm we meant to go at 4am but decided to go later also the car had to be repacked and its much easier to do that in day light. We drove from their place, driving into Kansas, there was not much to see in Kansas,
(you were right Marooney family) so Dad set up his laptop and we watched Adventures of robin hood on it, though to start off with we could not here the sound and we had to put coats on our head so we could hear! But then Dad fixed the sound so we could hear it.
It got very hot, by the way its meant to be winter but it sure did not feel like it!
Corn Field after corn Field we drove by! Nothing very exciting happened as you may have guessed!
Our car is very full of stuff! Well we stopped at a Motel for the night,
That's brings me up to now, I better sign off as everyone's off to sleep at 6am.
And being in a one roomed motel Everyone is getting annoyed with me being on the laptop!
I will write more tomorrow.

New Zealand
HI everyone
Most have you have heard the update.
We are moving back to New Zealand to live.
We are leaving Colorado 7th of December 2008 and driving across the country to Connecticut. Arriving there around the 14th of December 2008
We are spending 3 weeks there at the Tricketts house,
Then on the 31 of December we fly out from Boston to New Zealand arriving there on the 2 of Jauanry 2009.
We are going back to New Zealand to live.
